He was steady the ship after a bad start and guide Seleccao das Quinas (Tim Shields) into second place in the group and play-off against Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a test match which sealed qualification for the 2010 World Cup. Bento won three cups as Sporting Lisbon coach, the club where he spent four years of his playing career before taking over the junior team, and then the main work.

Top scorer with seven goals during qualifying, at the age of 27 Ronaldo should be entered in the peak of his career. Prediction Group Stage :

Bento has been an absolute blast while the ship since taking over from Queiroz and has some excellent players to call, out of the group of death is a big ask.

Bento will target for Denmark in the second game and three points against one of the surprising results of two other teams. But Germany and the Netherlands is unbearable in qualifying and both reached the last stage of World Cup 2010. Expect them to have a little too much for Portugal.
