World Cup qualifying Zone American Latin


World Cup qualifying Zone American Latin (CONMEBOL) qualifying implementing and applying the least complex format than the other zones are prevalent through several phases or stages. Therefore, when drawing in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday evening (30/7) or Sunday (31/7) morning last, do not draw upon this zone. Qualification schedule has been arranged even before the lottery was held.

Qualification is usually followed by the Latin American Zone 10 countries. Because the World Cup
2014 held in Brazil who qualify automatically, then the qualification is now followed by 9 countries. The nine countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. They were joined in one group with an inter-meeting (round robin) with the home and away format (home and away).

The top four teams in the final standings automatically qualify for the finals. While the fifth-ranked team as determined in the lottery in Rio de Janeiro-the play-offs should be diving home and away with the team of Zone Asia to fight a ticket to the finals. This mechanism must be taken because the zone has a quota of 4.5 teams for the finals.

If the play-offs coming from the Latin American team to win on aggregate, then the zone was put in the final round of six representatives, including the hosts Brazil. Qualifying fixtures for this zone:
