Euro 2012 Russia


Russia had won this tournament in 1960 when it was called the Soviet Union.
After the Soviet Union broke out and changed Their name to Russia, up to 4 times it's been participating in the European Cup in Euro 1996, Euro 2004 and Euro 2008.

In Euro 1996 Russia had to stop at the group stage the which was then in Group C with Italy, Germany and Czech Rep, 96 Euro trip must be stopped Because it was ranked the lowest in group C results from two defeats on Italian and German as well as the series with a Czech Rep.

In Euro 2004 Russia steps should also be stopped in round group A with losing 2 times over Spain and Portugal and win all over Greece to be ranked last in the group. In the Euro 2008 semi-final trip to Russia, in the preliminary round Group D with Spain, Greece and Sweden, Russia was the runner-up result of two wins over Sweden and Greece as well as losing to Spain, in Russia's quarterfinal win over the Netherlands 3-1, Russia in the semifinals 3-0 defeat to Spain again.
